Brent crude trading at $73.07/bbl

Crude oil prices rose by Rs45 to Rs5,692 per barrel in futures trade as participants widened their positions following a firm spot demand.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil was up by 0.73 per cent at $69.10 per barrel, while Brent crude increased 1.02 per cent to $73.07 per barrel in New York.
On MCX, crude oil for May delivery traded higher by Rs45 or 0.8 per cent at Rs5,692 per barrel in 20,285 lots. Analysts said the raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.
