Biryani by Kilo forays into Hyd

Hyderabad: Biryani by Kilo (BBK), a biryani and kebab delivery chain, on Monday said it has forayed into Hyderabad with nine delivery outlets, including one dine-in outlet at Banjara Hills. The outlets in the city are placed at Kukatpally, Kothapet, Kokapet, Gachibowli, Miyapur, Manikonda, Kompally and Attapur. The delivery is available through biryani online website, mobile application, BBK call centre and other aggregators.

Vishal Jindal, Founder and Co-CEO of the company said, "We are excited to announce the expansion into the Hyderabad market. We have received positive responses from customers and food connoisseurs in Hyderabad so far. We aim to be one of the most preferred biryani andkebab brands in this city within a year.Our target for Hyderabad is to contribute around 15-20 per cent total revenue in FY 2023-24."

BBK provides four different dum-cooked handi biryani varieties – Hyderabadi, Lucknowi, Kolkata, and Guntur. The other menu dishes include kebabs, korma, desserts, and bread. "Having served more than five million customers since 2015, the company actively operates over 100 outlets across 45 cities in India, including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, Dehradun, Goa, Kolkata, Patna, Guwahati, among others," the founder said.

Apart from their signature biryanis, BBK menu also features non-vegetarian dishes such as chicken ghee roast, chicken 65, mutton galouti kebabs, mutton nihari, chicken korma, and traditional desserts like phirni. The vegetarian options are vegetabledum biryani, peshawari chole biryani, kathal biryani, paneer tikka biryani, and others. The menu also includes various kormas and curries.
