Baroda BNP Paribas NFO Closes On Dec 20
Hyderabad: Baroda BNP Paribas Asset Management India has introduced the Baroda BNP Paribas Chil-dren’s Fund, an equity mutual fund scheme aimed at securing children’s futures. The NFO has already been opened on December 6 and will close on December 20, it is designed as a solu-tion-oriented, goal-based investment, benchmarked against the Nifty 500 Total Return Index and managed by Pratish Krishnan.
The fund will predominantly invest at least 80 per cent of its assets in equities, adopting a strat-egy that blends top-down sector analysis with bottom-up stock selection. With a five-year lock-in period or until the child turns 18, whichever comes first, this fund encourages long-term in-vestment. Investors can choose between lump-sum investments or SIPs, with the latter offering step-up options to match rising educational expenses.
Suresh Soni, CEO, Baroda BNP Paribas AMC, said: “As a goal-oriented solution scheme, this fund addresses the crucial question on many parents’ minds: ‘Have we saved enough for our child’s future?’ It’s our endeavour to offer a credible, growth-oriented investment option that aims to grow with the child and helps fulfil the parents’ dreams for their children. ”
