Brent crude trading higher at $73.67/bbl

Crude oil prices climbed Rs26 to Rs5,865 per barrel in futures trade as participants widened their positions following a firm spot demand. Globally, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude was trading 0.68 per cent higher at $69.90 per barrel, while Brent crude rose 0.83 per cent to $73.67 per barrel in New York. On MCX, crude oil for November delivery traded higher Rs26 or 0.45 per cent at Rs5,865 per barrel in 14,762 lots. Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.
