New Delhi: Zinc prices on Wednesday fell 0.27 per cent to Rs276.20 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for April delivery traded by 75 paise or 0.27 per cent lower at Rs276.20 per kg in 273 lots.

Copper futures gain on higher spot demand

Copper futures on Wednesday rose Rs5.50 to Rs895.90 per kilogram on the back of higher spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for April delivery grew Rs5.50 or 0.62 per cent to Rs895.90 per kg in a business turnover of 2,272 lots.

Aluminium futures rise on fresh bets

Aluminium prices on Wednesday rose Re 1 to Rs265.20 per kilogram in the futures market as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in April increased Re 1 or 0.38 per cent to Rs265.20 per kg in 757 lots.
