Commodity Watch: Zinc Futures Decline On Weak Demand

New Delhi: Zinc prices on Friday fell 0.65 per cent to Rs275.25 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for April delivery traded by Rs1.80 or 0.65 per cent lower at Rs275.25 per kg in 239 lots.
Copper futures fall on reduced bets
Copper futures on Friday fell 0.63 per cent to Rs887 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for April delivery eased Rs5.60 or 0.63 per cent to Rs887 per kg in a business turnover of 1,431 lots.
Aluminium futures fall on weak trend
Aluminium prices on Friday slipped 20 paise to Rs262.25 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in April fell 20 paise or 0.08 per cent to Rs262.25 per kg in 508 lots.
