Commodity Watch: Copper futures slip on muted demand
Copper futures slip on muted demand
New Delhi: Copper futures on Tuesday fell 0.53 per cent to Rs786.10 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid a muted demand in the domestic market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for August delivery eased by Rs4.20 or 0.53 per cent to Rs786.10 per kg in a business turnover of 13,526 lots. Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
Aluminium futures fall on low demand

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in August fell Rs1.10 or 0.51 per cent to Rs214.15 per kg in 3,993 lots.
