New Delhi: Copper prices on Friday rose 0.01 per cent to Rs827.50 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand. On Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for delivery in October traded higher 5 paise or 0.01 per cent at Rs827.50 per kg in a business turnover of 5,365 lots. Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
Aluminium futures fall on low demand
Aluminium prices declined Rs1.10 to Rs232.95 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market. On MCX, aluminium for delivery in October fell Rs 1.10 or 0.47 per cent to Rs 232.95 per kg in 2,057 lots.
