New Delhi: Copper prices on Friday rose 0.56 per cent to Rs838.95 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in July traded higher Rs4,70 or 0.56 per cent at Rs838.95 per kg in a business turnover of 9,325 lots. Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
