New Delhi: Copper prices on Wednesday rose 1.43 per cent to Rs859.15 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in July traded higher Rs12.15 or 1.43 per cent at Rs859.15 per kg in a business turnover of 7,841 lots. Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
