Copper Futures Gain On High Demand
New Delhi: Copper futures on Friday saw an uptick of 1.04 per cent to Rs 845.80 per kilogram on the back of higher spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for November delivery increased by Rs 8.70 or 1.04 per cent to Rs 845.80 per kg in a business turnover of 4,917 lots. Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
Aluminium futures rise on fresh bets
Aluminium prices on Friday increased Rs 1.70 to Rs 239.65 per kilogram in the futures market, as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in November rose Rs 1.70 or 0.71 per cent to Rs 239.65 per kg in 1,526 lots. Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
