New Delhi: Copper futures on Tuesday fell 0.26 per cent to Rs865.15 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for March delivery eased by Rs2.25 or 0.26 per cent to Rs865.15 per kg in a business turnover of 890 lots.

Aluminium futures rise on fresh bets

Aluminium prices on Tuesday rose by 5 paise to Rs257.35 per kilogram in the futures market, as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in April increased by 5 paise or 0.02 per cent to Rs257.35 per kg in 215 lots.

Zinc futures decline on trimmed positions

New Delhi: Zinc prices on Tuesday fell 0.09 per cent to Rs269.80 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for March delivery traded 25 paise or 0.09 per cent lower at Rs269.80 per kg in 2,342 lots.
