Commodity Watch: Aluminium Futures Fall On Lower Bets

New Delhi: Aluminium prices on Friday declined Rs 2.20 to Rs 236.80 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in May fell Rs 2.20 or 0.92 per cent to Rs 236.80 per kg in 957 lots.
Copper futures dip on weak trend
Copper futures on Friday slipped 1.27 per cent to Rs 857.70 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for May delivery eased by Rs 11 or 1.27 per cent to Rs 857.70 per kilogram in a business turnover of 1,037 lots.
Zinc futures decline on trimmed positions
Zinc prices on Friday fell 1.02 per cent to Rs 256.60 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for May delivery traded lower by Rs 2.65 or 1.02 per cent at Rs 256.60 per kg in 359 lots.
