US sent those Indians back in a chartered plane.. because?
The US Department of Homeland (DHS) is trying to control illegal immigrants in America. As part of this, the DHS has said that Indians who are staying illegally in their country have been sent back. It is said that they were sent to India in a special flight on October 22. The US has revealed that these actions were taken with the cooperation of the Indian government.
"We have decided to send back the Indian citizens who are staying in America illegally. "We are taking these steps to ensure that the people who have migrated are not held hostage by the smugglers," said senior DHS official Christy A. Canegallo.
According to the statement released by The Border Presidential last June, the DHS found that illegal immigration has decreased by 55 percent in the southwest border of the United States. According to this order, around 1,60,000 illegal immigrants have been sent back in the financial year 2024. It has sent back migrants from 145 countries in more than 495 special flights. In addition to India, there are citizens of Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Egypt, Mauritania, Senegal, Uzbekistan and China. The US said these measures are aimed at solving difficult border issues, curbing illegal immigration and encouraging legal migration routes.
