Wordle Hints and Answers Today: Engineer and software engineer Josh Wardle created the game during the COVID-19 pandemic to keep him and his companions entertained. He quickly realized its broad appeal but decided to release Wordle for the general public in the fall of 2021. To play the game players are asked to guess the Wordle word of the day of five letters within six attempts or less using a color-coded method.
