Reddit services have been restored following a brief outage that lasted approximately one hour. While the platform is now functioning normally on both the web and app, Reddit has not yet addressed the cause of the outage, which marks the third incident in the past three months.

During the outage, users worldwide encountered access issues on the desktop, receiving error messages such as “no healthy upstream” and “upstream connect errors or disconnect/reset before headers. reset reason: connection failure.” Many users reported difficulties accessing Reddit on both the web and mobile app.

There were over 200 reports of outages, with numerous users expressing their frustrations on social media platforms like Facebook and X (formerly Twitter). Despite claims on redditstatus.com that "All systems operational," many users continued to face access problems, receiving messages stating, “Our CDN was unable to reach our servers.”

This is not the first time Reddit has experienced outages; similar issues occurred in September and August, both of which were resolved quickly, with the company describing them as instances of “degraded performance.”
