Kash Patel, recently nominated by President-elect Donald Trump to head the FBI, received a congratulatory message from Elon Musk after joining the social networking site X on Sunday.
Patel, a Trump loyalist, marked his entry on X with a post saying, “Hello X,” which quickly garnered over 13.9 million views. The Tesla CEO and owner of X, Elon Musk, responded, “Congratulations on being nominated to run the @FBI!” Musk himself has been selected to co-head the new DOGE department in the upcoming administration.
Kash Patel’s arrival on X attracted significant attention, with over 485.2K individuals, including notable figures like Andrew Tate and Trending Politics co-owner Rugg, following him. Tate encouraged Patel with a simple “Do it,” while Rugg commented, “You must be doing something right.”
Who is Kash Patel?
Kash Patel was born in 1980 in New York to Gujarati parents who emigrated from East Africa. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Richmond and pursued his law degree in New York. Patel also holds a certificate in International Law from the University College London Faculty of Laws in the UK.
Patel began his career as a public defender in Florida, representing clients in both state and federal courts. He later became a prosecutor at the Department of Justice, working on high-profile terrorism cases in the US and East Africa.
A fervent supporter of Donald Trump, Patel made numerous appearances during the campaign trail to rally support against Democrat Kamala Harris.

In a recent interview on the Benny Johnson podcast, Patel promised to make the Epstein files and the "Diddy list" public, aiming to expose decades of alleged misconduct and restore public trust in government agencies. “They are terrified,” Patel said, emphasizing the need for transparency and truth.
