Chris Martin admires Jasprit Bumrah
Martin caught everyone by surprise during his Mumbai Coldplay concert when he talked about India's Jasprit Bumrah on stage. Bumrah shared the event video on his social platforms after it became popular across social media platforms.
Martin requested the audience to wait because Jasprit Bumrah wanted to join the show but needed 15 minutes.
Afterwards Martin humorously revealed he received a legal notice from Bumrah's lawyers because he used their client's name without permission.
Lead singer Chris Martin stopped the concert to read a funny legal notice from Jasprit Bumrah's lawyers as stated by Martin. Because of this requirement Martin stopped his show to avoid going to prison and canceling the Ahmedabad performance.
India's selection committee added Bumrah to their 2025 Champions Trophy team but only his recovery from injury will determine if he plays in the tournament. The BCCI selectors' chairman Ajit Agarkar expressed his belief that Bumrah would be ready to play for India against Bangladesh in their opening group match.
