Blow for Barcelona: Lewandowski ruled out of El Clasico & Copa del Rey final

Barcelona have confirmed that star striker Robert Lewandowski will be sidelined for approximately three weeks due to a muscle injury, ruling him out of the Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid and several other key fixtures.
What Happened?
During Barcelona’s recent comeback win over Celta Vigo, Lewandowski was forced off the pitch after appearing to tweak his left hamstring. Scans have since revealed an injury to the semitendinosus muscle, a part of the hamstring group. The 36-year-old forward’s absence is a major setback for the Catalans, especially given his prolific form — 40 goals in 48 games this season.
What It Means for Barca
Lewandowski’s injury rules him out of:
Copa del Rey final vs Real Madrid
Champions League semi-final first-leg vs Inter Milan
La Liga fixtures vs Mallorca & Valladolid
His availability for the second leg against Inter and the crucial La Liga tie against Real Madrid remains uncertain.
Silver Lining?
Manager Hansi Flick will be relieved to have Dani Olmo back from injury, while Ferran Torres continues to impress. However, the Polish striker’s chemistry with Raphinha and rising star Lamine Yamal will be sorely missed as Barca navigate this tough stretch.
