Apple AirTag 2 May Launch In 2025: Says Gurman

Apple is reportedly developing a new version of AirTag, four years after the introduction of the original device in 2021.

In the weekly Power On newsletter, Mark Gurman claimed that Apple was gearing up to launch the AirTag 2 around the middle of next year.

Mark said in his newsletter, "The AirTag 2 would likely sport a similar design to the current model but reportedly offer better range and an upgraded onboard wireless chip............ Gurman added that Apple would bring some privacy improvements to the next-generation AirTag, including making it difficult for someone to remove the speaker from the tracker.

Along with the smart tracker, Apple is slated to release a new smart home display, an upgraded iPad Air, an entry-level iPad, a Macbook Air, a Mac Pro, a Mac Studio, and an iPhone SE in 2025.
