VPA hosts 4th BWNC meeting

Visakhapatnam Visakhapatnam Port Authority organised the fourth bi-partite Wage Negotiations Committee (BWNC) meeting here on Sunday.
The meeting was chaired by Indian Ports Association (IPA) Chairman along with the Chairpersons of Major Ports in the presence of federations for deliberation with regard to wage negotiation of Class 3 and 4 employees.
Hosting the BWNC meeting, Dr M Angamuthu, Chairperson, VPA welcomed all the members of the BWNC and informed that VPA is fully developing the ecosystem in Visakhapatnam Port and facilitating welfare measures to all the employees uniformly.
The federations commended the hospitality of Chairperson and entire VPA team for wonderful logistic arrangements and stated that they will support the management ensuring a speedy settlement of the wage negotiations in a meaningful and effective manner.
