Sudhakar Group investing Rs 250 cr on Ujjain plant
The mega manufacturing plant is set to be operational from December 2023

Hyderabad Sudhakar Group, a pioneer in PVC industry since 50 years providing superior quality products, is all set to start its ninth manufacturing unit near Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh. The company already has four plants in Andhra Pradesh, two in Telangana, one in Karnataka and one in Odisha. It manufactures uPVC pipes & fittings, wires & cables and uPVC windows & doors.
Known for its quality products, Sudhakar Group is the biggest PVC pipes & fittings manufacturer in South India. Meela Jayadev, Managing Director of Sudhakar Irrigation Systems Pvt Ltd, Director of Sudhakar PVC Products Pvt Ltd and Sudhakar Polymers Pvt Ltd, was recently elected as the new president of the Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) for 2023-24.
Talking to Bizz Buzz, he said: “We have expanded our company operations by laying the foundation stone for a mega plant to manufacture all types of plastic piping systems for agriculture, water supply, and construction segments in an area of 22 acres at Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC)/ Integrated Industrial Township - Vikram Udyogpuri, about 14 km from Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.”
Jayadev further said, “The company is investing Rs 250 crore on this manufacturing plant. Our brand has been predominantly in southern markets for the last five decades. We have laid the foundation stone for this plant during last year. The green field project with a covered area of about 4 lakh sq ft will be operational from December 2023.”
The new manufacturing unit is strategically located to cater the northern, western and central Indian markets. At the same time, we started marketing and sales operations in these markets. The company is projecting full-scale operations at this plant within a year, he added.
