Visakhapatnam: Taramandal, a first-of-its-kind space tech startup based in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, has found a place in the prestigious Forbes. The startup incubated at A-Hub Incubation Center at Andhra University has earlier been recognised by various institutes including IN-SPACE, ISRO, Australian Space Agency (ASA) and Taiwan Space Agency (TASA) for its critical innovative space technologies.

Taramandal focuses on sustainable use of outer space. The startup is working on sustainable satellite technologies to achieve net-zero orbits, contributing to the global mission of reducing space debris.

The recognition by Forbes India and D-Globalist Select-200 list for 2024 has come as a shot in the arm to get global recognition with prospects to explore business potential, innovation and prospects for expansion at the international level.

Out of thousands of nominations from across the world, select 200 startups were chosen. Taramandal is the sole representative from Andhra Pradesh and the only startup working on satellite technology in this elite global list.

“The Forbes Select-200 list is an acknowledgment of Taramandal’s relentless commitment to innovation and excellence.
