Ensure safety of construction workers: Naredco to developers

Hyderabad: Naredco (National Real Estate Development Council) Telangana, an association of real estate developers, has emphasised that builders should ensure safety of their workers and provide them with adequate shelter and essential supplies, during this period of disruption.

Heavy rains have increased the likelihood of structural risks, including wall collapses, soil erosion, and landslides. As a precaution, workers should be moved away from retaining walls and the edges of excavated areas, Naredco said in an official release.

S Devender Reddy from the Municipal Administration and Urban Development has also advised Naredco Telangana to call on all member builders and developers to take immediate steps to ensure the safety of their construction workers.
