PSGIC trade union leaders to meet FM

Mumbai, Aug 03 PSGIC trade union leaders including Binoy Viswam (chairman, GIEAIA) and Amarjeet Kaur (president, GIEAIA) will be meeting with the Finance Minister to address following burning issues of employees, Officers and Pensioners.
The agenda of the forthcoming meeting include Merger of Public Sector General Insurance Companies, to remove the Clause of Performance Linked Wage Revision, to roll-back the wrong decision in the name of KPI and restructuring and Closer and Merger of Offices irrationally.
The issues like initiation of recruitment in All Class of Workforc of NPS to 14 per cent infuse required capital to the Companies as they have been serving the Nation and paying huge funds on the various Government initiated Social Schemes will also be discussed.
The trade union leaders are also demanding Tt form Regulatory Body to ensure check and balances on TPAs and Brokers and to take strict action against the higher officials who are violating the rule of cooling period and working against the interest of the .
Talking to Bizz Buzz, Trilok Singh, General Secretary,
GIEAIA said, “The entire leadership pledged to fulfil the dreams of the predecessors who worked tirelessly to nationalize the general insurance industry, protect PSGICs and safeguard the Rights and Dignity of all Employees and Officers.”
The General Insurance Employees All India Association will be declaring an agitational programme if their genuine and justified demands are not met within a stipulated time.
