Hyderabad: Prof Patrick Tan, Executive Director of PRECISE (Precision Health Research, Singapore) at National University of Singapore, will be recognised with the Genome Valley Excellence Award, for his contributions to precision medicine, cancer genomics, and population health research, during the 22nd edition of BioAsia 2025, which will be held from February 24 to 26, 2025, here at HICC.
At PRECISE, Prof Tan has spearheaded Singapore’s national precision medicine programme, which integrates advanced genomic research with artificial intelligence to create predictive models for disease prevention and treatment, an official BioAsia press release mentioned.
Making this announcement, Telangana Minister for Industries, D Sridhar Babu said: “We are proud to present the Genome Valley Excellence Award 2025 to Prof Patrick Tan, whose pioneering work in genomics and precision medicine has advanced global healthcare. His leadership in integrating genomics with clinical practice has set new benchmarks in personalised healthcare and population health.
