Polmor Steel to expand facility at 2.5 mn euros

Hyderabad: Polmor Steel Pvt Ltd, a manufacturer of critical components for railway companies announced its plan to expand its plant at the Automotive Park in Kallakal and Muppireddypalli Industrial area in Medak district.

Poland Ambassador and Charge d’affairs to India, Dr Sebastian Domzalski paid a visit to the Polmor Steel Factory on Thursday. Accompanied by the Consul General of Poland, Dr Aleksander Danda, and the Economic Counsellor at the Embassy of Poland, Paweł Mokrzycki, KVR Subba Rao, Managing Director of Polmor Steel, the delegation toured both the existing plant and the new facility currently under construction.

On the company’s expansion strategy, Subba Rao said, “As several European companies establish their presence in India, Polmor Steel is proud to contribute to this trend by expanding its operations. With plans to acquire an additional three acres for expansion and inject 2.5 million euros in capital, we aim to create employment opportunities for an additional 100 individuals.” He also informed that more than 30 Polmor Steel employees are now working at the parent company in Poland. “This is giving our people an opportunity to work in Europe, learn, develop and enhance their skills to deliver European standard products,” he added.

Witnessing the progress of a Polish company in India, Ambassador Domzalski commended Polmor Steel’s commitment to growth and job creation. He highlighted the company’s alignment with the Government of India’s Make in India initiative. While Subba Rao expressed gratitude to the Ambassador, Consul General, and Economic Counsellor for their visit, the company said in an official release.
