Omron Healthcare plans expansion in TS, AP

Hyderabad: OMRON Healthcare India, which is present in the digital blood pressure monitoring systems segment, announced its plans to expand its operations in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
"We plan to go beyond Tier-I cities and expand to places like Warangal in Telangana. We will also increase our retail network," said Masanori Matsubara, Managing Director of Omron Healthcare India.
The company is expecting South India to contribute 40 per cent of its total sales in FY22. At present, the region contributes 30 per cent to its top line. In Hyderabad, the company claims a market share of 44 per cent, which it intends to increase. It opened an experience centre in the city.
"All the products of Omron are clinically validated according to the standards of Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation Standard (AAMI) and/or European Society of Hypertension International Protocol (ESH)," the MD said.
Omron is aiming at a turnover of Rs 221 crore in FY22, representing a year-on-year growth of 10 per cent.
