'Opportunities galore in Atmanirbhar Bharat'

Cmde Hemant Khatri, Chairman and Managing Director of HSL said that India is moving towards self-reliance to provide ample opportunities for all industries and local vendors to play a significant role in Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.

He was speaking at a session organised by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Andhra Pradesh chapter vendor development with HSL through virtual mode. It is important that industry set a larger vision and target, he the CMD mentioned in his address. Vendor development programme help to build long-term partnership and strategic alliance between PSUs and Indian private industries.The partnership will create a manufacturing base and supply chain system in the country, he felt. "HSL's most talked about word is transformation and working day and night to fulfill the dreams of New HSL and the most important thing in this is that we are re-discovering ourselves," he said. SV Ramababu, Director (Finance & Commercial, HSL), said, they have refined their procurement procedure for ease of doing business with business partners and evolving new business models to optimise cost and time and improving efficiency. DV Subba Rao, General Manager (Commercial), HSL made a detailed presentation on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav an India@75 initiative and infrastructure development opportunities.
