New head of NTPC takes charge
Senior NTPC officer Sanjay Kumar Sinha on Saturday took over from G.C. Choukse as Head of the Station (BUH) Simhadri Super Thermal Power Project at Parawada near here.

Visakhapatnam Senior NTPC officer Sanjay Kumar Sinha on Saturday took over from G.C. Choukse as Head of the Station (BUH) Simhadri Super Thermal Power Project at Parawada near here.
Sinha, a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from Bihar Institute of Technology (BIT), Jharkhand, joined NTPC in 1988 as an executive trainee. After training his first posting was at Singrauli in Operation Department.
Prior to Simhadri posting, he worked at different stations of NTPC at Singrauli, Khalgaon, Kerandari & Dadri and held several important positions in a career spanning around three decades. He has rich experience in Power Plant Management
As head of the power station, he will coordinate all activities of NTPC- Simhadri Plant.
His predecessor G.C. Choukse was felicitated by team Simhadri grandly on 3on the eve of his superannuation.
Speaking on this occasion, Choukse appreciated the team Simhadri for its excellent support, unity and commitment during his tenure and requested to continue their best efforts to keep brand of Simhadri intact.
B.Rama Rao, CGM (UFSC), S. Govindarajan, CGM (CPG) and other senior officials were present.
