NCC Ltd bags Rs 8,398cr orders
City-based infrastructure major NCC Limited on Friday said it has received four new orders of a total worth Rs 8,398 crore (excluding GST) relating to the Electrical Division in the month of August 2023.

Hyderabad City-based infrastructure major NCC Limited on Friday said it has received four new orders of a total worth Rs 8,398 crore (excluding GST) relating to the Electrical Division in the month of August 2023.
The company said that the first two orders of Rs 2,822 crore and Rs 2,933 crore is received from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co Ltd (MSEDCL), for the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) project, to be executed on Design, Build, Finance, Own, Operate, Transfer (DBFOOT) basis under RDSS Scheme. The duration of these orders is nine years and three months including seven years of Operation and Maintenance period. These two projects will be executed through “Special Purpose Vehicles.”
The third Order, for Rs 2,324 crore, received from North Bihar Power Distribution Co Ltd is for Advanced Metering Infrastructure Project (AMI) on Design, Build, Finance, Own, Operate, Transfer (DBFOOT) basis. This Order, with duration of nine years and three months, is required to be executed by NCC itself.
The fourth Order for Rs 319 crore received from Bangalore Electricity Supply Co Ltd, for upgradation of Distribution Automation System (DAS) is for a duration of 18 month. As such, the orders totaling to Rs 5,755 crore will form part of the Subsidiary Companies (SPVs) order book and balance of Rs 2,643 crore remains in NCC standalone order book, the infra major said in a statement.
