ManipalCigna collects Rs 150cr premium in TS, AP

ManipalCigna Health Insurance, a health insurance company said it is taking steps to strengthen its presence in Hyderabad so as to extend its health insurance solutions to new customer segments. In FY 22-23 the insurer reported a gross written premium of over Rs 150 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, emerging as the second highest markets for business growth for the company in South India.

The standalone health insurer expects to double its business to Rs 1,000 crore GWP (gross written premium) over the next two years, and aims to launch new branch offices, increase employee strength and recruit over 10,000 agents in the South.
