Madhya Pradesh showcases growing tourism at Travel Mart
MP Tourism Board attends India International Travel Mart in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Being one of the forerunners among the economically upcoming States, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board participated in India International Travel Mart in Hyderabad from December 3 to 5, 2021. The focus was to showcase and revive the fast growing tourism sector.
Madhya Pradesh is a State that reflects the true cultural heritage of India. Through the amalgamation of various communities and castes, the folklore and historical monuments makes Madhya Pradesh one of the most sought after tourist destinations.
Shilpa Gupta, Additional Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board said, "Madhya Pradesh has a lot to offer in terms of tourist attractions. The majority of tourists throng to the State for wildlife, pilgrimage, heritage and leisure. We have played an active role in shaping the tourism sector in India. Participation Travel Marts like these connects us with prominent travel agents/tour operators on a common platform and showcases the tremendous tourism potential that Madhya Pradesh possesses."
"This event will definitely help us to achieve our goals of increasing footfalls to the State. We are hoping that these meetings will stimulate the curiosity in the travel agents and tour operators and they will lead their guests to explore Madhya Pradesh," she added. MPTB is working strategically towards getting more domestic and International tourists, promoting new travel circuits in different segments to the tourist exploring heritage, culture, adventure, wildlife, spiritual, rural & wellness destinations.
"Madhya Pradesh is a versatile State having variety of tourism products, we have activity filled tourist destinations, wildlife safaris, natural scenic beauty, adventure activities, camping, water sports, Cuisines, heritage, tribal culture, handicrafts, wellness and mindful tourism and many more things to explore and experience," she added.
