In 2020, Sarika Nagrale founded Lush Naturals with a clear mission to revolutionize the beauty industry by offering chemical-free, handmade skincare solutions that celebrate the profound power of nature. Born from a passion for wellness and sustainability, Lush Naturals quickly garnered attention for its eco-friendly approach, with a focus on creating products that were not only effective, but also environmentally responsible.

Sarika’s journey to becoming the driving force behind Lush Naturals was anything, but conventional. Holding a degree in Information Technology, with investment of couple of lakh rupees, Sarika began her career as a software engineer, before venturing into the current business. However, it was her long-standing passion for natural wellness and beauty that ultimately led her to pursue her true calling: cosmetics.

In her own words, “having worked closely in the beauty sector, I saw a gap for authentic, chemical-free products. That inspired me to create Lush Naturals, a brand that would deliver high-quality, handmade cosmetics, aligned with nature and eco-conscious living.”

During the tenure working for a software company in London, Sarika got exposure to cosmetics making in organic way. The Maharashtrian woman made Hyderabad her home and running her small plant at Patancheru in Greater Hyderabad, making a decent earnings through her business. She has plans to expand the business with more intakes of employees with a bigger plant near Sangareddy.

Lush Naturals quickly gained recognition, not only for its natural and chemical-free skincare products, but also for its commitment to environmental responsibility. With ISO, FDA, and GMP certifications, the brand stands as a beacon of quality in the beauty industry. Expanding its reach, Lush Naturals has made its mark on prominent online platforms, including Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, and Meesho, while staying rooted in its core philosophy of sustainability.

What started with a modest offering of handmade soaps quickly evolved into a full-fledged skincare brand, Lush Naturals, offering an expanding range of products that cater to various beauty needs. In a market teeming with well-established brands, Lush Naturals carved its own niche by staying true to its founding principles: quality, sustainability, and transparency.

From the very beginning, Sarika took a stand against automation, opting instead to maintain the artistry of handmade production. This commitment has been a cornerstone of the brand’s identity. Sarika’s dedication to empowering women is evident in every aspect of Lush Naturals. Today, the company is home to around 25 employees, most of whom are women, contributing to an environment that fosters creativity, independence, and mutual support. Apart from this 100 plus sales team works tirelessly to achieve the targets.

Reflecting on her journey, Sarika shares, “the early days were challenging, but the dedication to quality and sustainability helped us earn the trust of our customers. We were transparent about our processes, and people recognized the authenticity of our products.”
