Hyderabad: LuLu Group International launched its first hypermarket and the biggest mall at Kukatpally in Hyderabad on Wednesday. Telangana IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao inaugurated the mall and UAE Consul General Aaref Al Nuaimi opened LuLu Hypermarket in the presence of Yusuff Ali MA, Chairman of Lulu Group, and others. This is the first venture of the Lulu Group in Telangana.
On the occasion, Yusuff Ali said: “We are planning multiple investments in the State. Our second project will be an export-oriented state-of-the-art food processing facility, including the meat processing centre in Hyderabad, and we will also be planning a seafood procurement and processing centre to support the local fishing industry. We are committed to invest Rs 3,500 crore in Telangana over next three years”.
He further said: “With this investment, a destination shopping mall, mini malls, and agricultural sourcing hubs will be set up to facilitate 100 percent exports and promote local products across India and overseas. We had made many rounds of fruitful discussions with the government of Telangana, and the speed with which they approved the project is commendable”.

Established with an investment of Rs 300 crore, LuLu Mall offers an international shopping experience to the people of Telangana. It will generate employment for more than 2,000 personnel.The global standard LuLu Hypermarket to be the highlight of the mall, which will offer an extensive range of fresh produce, groceries and other products under the brands ‘Lulu Fashion Store’ and ‘Lulu Connect.
The mall extends an array of infinite choices in retail, food and entertainment. Its offerings include an international multiplex experience, a relaxing spa, carefully handpicked delicacies at the food court, exciting fun games zone and the latest in fashion and lifestyle to make it Hyderabad’s most preferred hub.
Funtura, the entertainment zone of 20,000 sq ft will have 100+ unique rides that will cater to adults and children. The mall has Cinepolis, 1,400-seater five screen cinemas. The food court will host 15 multi- cuisine outlets with over 500 seating, in addition to six restaurants. The mall offers ample parking for 1,000 cars and 900 bikes.
