Hyderabad: Indian School of Business (ISB) mentoring and handholding startups was again demonstrated when robotics startup XMachines secured seed funding from Dare Ventures, the venture capital arm of Coromandel International, a key subsidiary of the Murugappa Group.
XMachines is a robotics company pioneering the development of AI-based robots catered to the needs of farmers. DLabs at the Indian School of Business (ISB) offered early support and guidance in nurturing XMachines to become industry-ready. The startup, which belonged to the 2021 cohort, was supported with seed funding under the NIDHI - SSS (National Initiative for Developing and Harnessing Innovations - Seed Support System) scheme by the Department of Science & Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology.
Saumya Kumar, Director, I-Venture @ ISB said, “We are sure the success story of XMachines will encourage others in the sector to pursue more of such innovative and futuristic initiatives.”
