RINL exports maiden consignment of BF slag to UK

Visakhapatnam Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited has sent its maiden consignment of blast furnace slag to the United Kingdom.

Vijaya Mineral Resources exported 73,000 tonnes, one of the largest shipments of blast furnace slag, in m.v. Navios Algeria. The vessel sailed from Gangavaram Port, a spokesman for RINL, the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant.
