Hyderabad's old city metro rail works to begin soon: Asaduddin Owaisi

Asaduddin Owaisi, the President of the All India Majlis e Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) and Member of Parliament representing Hyderabad, has announced the imminent commencement of metro rail construction in the old city. He revealed that the metro rail authorities have completed property identification and surveys for areas affected by the proposed rail line, signaling the upcoming start of groundworks.
Furthermore, Owaisi disclosed plans for the inauguration of Gulzar Houz and expressed his desire for MA&UD Minister K T Rama Rao to officiate the event. He emphasized the authorities' commitment to substantial enhancements at Laad Bazaar, with the goal of giving all its shops a heritage makeover, supported by a budget allocation of Rs. 50 crore.
In addition to these developments, the Hyderabad MP unveiled blueprints for a multi-storied parking complex at the Charminar bus stand, expected to cost between Rs. 30-40 crore.
During his visit to the Rein Bazar municipal division, Owaisi laid the foundation stone for various projects valued at Rs. 8.69 crores. These initiatives encompass improvements to sewage discharge networks, road repairs, and enhancements to stormwater drains in different areas of the Rein Bazaar division. Furthermore, he announced that GHMC would soon approve an additional four projects, collectively valued at approximately Rs. 3 crores.
Owaisi concluded his visit by inaugurating several other initiatives in Kurmaguda, Ghansi Bazaar, and Shah Ali Banda municipal divisions. These actions underscore his commitment to improving and elevating various facets of Hyderabad's infrastructure and amenities.
