AP, ITAAP to finalise blueprint to boost IT investments
Andhra Pradesh Government, IT Association of AP (ITAAP) and several key players in the IT industry have come forward to launch an exercise to prepare a roadmap to strengthen the existing ecosystem to bring more investments to the State in IT and IT enabled services (ITES).

This was resolved after threadbare discussions at the two-day IT summit named infinITyVizag 2023 organised by ITAAP on Saturday with Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) and ITE&C Department, AP Electronics and IT Agency (APEITA) and AP Innovation Society (APIS).
Speaking at the valedictory, IT and Industries Minister Gudivada Amarnath said the AP Government wants to promote investments in the IT sector in a big way in consultation with the stakeholders. He said IT is chosen as one of the focus areas for discussion at the Global Investors' Summit, being organised here on March 3 and 4. Improving the startup ecosystem to encourage innovation culture is also being given top priority by the YSRCP During the IT summit, discussions were held on the need to adopt future strategy in deep tech Innovation and startups for the growth of the IT industry and startup ecosystem, preparing a roadmap for creating a high-end skilling ecosystem, network with various CXOs/senior technocrats of MNCs, create B2B networking opportunities for the companies and promote and strengthen the IT ecosystem in the State.
The first day focused on core IT and deep tech sector and startups while the second day focused on the ITeS/BPM sector which is the major contributor for IT employment. Discussions were held on industry 4.0, AI enabled autonomous systems and levers of the startup ecosystem
The summit brought over 40 renowned speakers that included CEOs'/CXOs from various leading MNCs across India and founders and co-founders of unicorns to the city, according to ITAAP president Sreedhar Kosaraju.
The Inaugural event was attended by Vidyasagar Reddy, IT Advisor to AP, Saurabh Gaur, Secretary, IT,
Arvind Kumar, Director General, STPI, G.V.L.Narasimha Rao, BJP MP, B.V.R. Mohan Reddy, Founder, Cyient and Alkesh Kumar Sharma Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Meity).
Sessions on the final day, the key speakers included Ram Prasad, Director, STPI, Hyderabad, Srinath Devireddy and Chandrahaas, IT Advisors to Govt of AP, Medapati.S.Venkat, Advisor on NRT Affairs, Keshav R Murugesh Group CEO, WNS Group and Lakshmi Mukkavilli, ITAAP president-elect.
