HYSEA, HFF to promote biz collaborations

Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association (HYSEA) in collaboration with Hyderabad Fintech Forum (HFF) organised ‘Catalyst’ event at HICC on Tuesday. Catalyst is a platform to connect and promote collaboration of large corporates and startups for exchange of knowledge and ideas.

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association (HYSEA) in collaboration with Hyderabad Fintech Forum (HFF) organised 'Catalyst' event at HICC on Tuesday. Catalyst is a platform to connect and promote collaboration of large corporates and startups for exchange of knowledge and ideas. The innovation confluence brought together domain specialists, technology experts and business leaders. Telangana ITE&C Principal Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, who was the chief guest on the occasion, said: "I am happy HYSEA and HFF have created this platform for corporates and startups to interact and collaborate. Considering BFSI is one of largest employment generator, the fintech theme for the first edition of Catalyst series is very apt".

He added that all key players in the innovation eco system should also explore working with government financial institutions like T-Wallet, State Finance Corporation and Streenidhi Bank to see if we can improve efficiencies in delivery as they touch lives of the citizens."

Manisha Saboo, HYSEA President, said: "Hyderabad is at tipping point of becoming innovation capital of India. HYSEA is playing role of catalyst by bringing large organisation and startups together, creating opportunities to exchange thoughts and enhance collaboration". JA Chowdary, Founding member of HFF & Chairman, India Blockchain Standards Committee, said: "HFF and HYSEA are organising this conference to enable more startups in the fintech and other technology space, to get the opportunity for networking and also for getting new mentors to guide them, hand hold them, to see that they are successful."

Three key panels on "Payment Systems", "Blockchain" and "AI in Fintech" were each followed by presentations by nine curated startups. They presented their innovations and solutions, and interacted and exchanged ideas with the panel. As a next step, they will explore opportunities to collaborate.
