Hyderabad airport bags best service quality award
GMR Hyderabad International Airport on Monday said it has received the ‘Best Airport of 15 to 25 Million Passengers Per Annum (MPPA)’

Hyderabad: GMR Hyderabad International Airport on Monday said it has received the ‘Best Airport of 15 to 25 Million Passengers Per Annum (MPPA)’ in the Asia-Pacific region for 2022. The award was given by Airports Council International (ACI) after conducting its annual Airport Service Quality (ASQ) survey.
ASQ is a benchmarking programme which measures passengers’ satisfaction while they are travelling through an airport.
Speaking on this achievement, Pradeep Panicker, CEO - GHIAL said, “It gives us immense pleasure to be recognised year after year by our passengers. The terminal expansion of the Hyderabad Airport has enhanced the passenger experience with more space, new facilities and multiple options. We have made significant investments in our facilities and continue to use technology enabled solutions for efficiency of operations.”
The airport has been featured among the Top three Global airports for nine consecutive years from 2009 to 2017.
