Hyderabad: St. Jude India Child Care Centres (St. Judes) has officially opened a new facility in Hyderabad, aimed at expanding its mission to support children battling cancer. The newly inaugurated centre will provide a safe, clean, and affordable environment for children undergoing cancer treatment, along with essential services such as transportation, education, counselling, and holistic care.
The centre offers accommodation for 26 families at no cost, ensuring they have access to hygienic living conditions during their child's treatment. Special provisions have been made for children undergoing Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) procedures, with four dedicated units.
Patients from hospitals such as MNJ Institute of Oncology, Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital, and Rainbow Children’s Hospital will benefit from this facility.
