Growing pharma biz vis-à-vis giving jobs

Entrepreneur Kalpana Reddy has been working hard in the field of pharmaceuticals to make her company Grown Pharmaceuticals a successful venture in supplying pharma products. "I got inspiration from my husband who said that I have the capability to start a business of my own in the pharmaceutical sector," Managing Director of Grown Pharmaceuticals, Kalpana Reddy.

She started her business journey in the year 2021 wherein it has been a great achievement for the entrepreneur to run it successfully. "My interest to start a business has evolved me to achieve great heights in the business world," says Kalpana. As an entrepreneur Kalpana feels that running a company and giving employment to several people is a great achievement. "It feels good that I am earning money and contributing it towards our country," says Kalpana.

While beginning the startup, the MD had faced many problems, in terms of materials, money problems and many more. But now the company has been gearing up and has taken a proper shape where every job is completely streamlined. "In the pharmaceutical field, everything depends on the quality materials, timelines and many more aspects," says Kalpana.

In the beginning of her business career, Kalpana started with trading like buying things and selling pharma products, intermediates, bulk drugs and many more items. Later, she completely focused on selling pharma products to her clients and other people.

The startup MD has connections with different pharma companies like Aurobindo Pharma, Hetero, Smilax and several more and she has been aiming to achieve and make her startup the best by 2025, when she can see hr company flourish with 40 people on board. "I started my business by taking a gold loan and I always believe that self confidence is very important to start a new business," says Kalpana.

Aiming to be the best company in the future, she is gearing up to make her company stand out in the world of pharmaceuticals.
