Goa's new airport gets 1st flight from Hyderabad
GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited said it launched the first flight from the city to the newly inaugurated Goa Manohar International Airport on Thursday.

Hyderabad: GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited said it launched the first flight from the city to the newly inaugurated Goa Manohar International Airport on Thursday.
The airport at Mopa in Goa became operational with IndiGo flight from Hyderabad landing its first flight there. The inaugural flight, Indigo 6E 6145 took off with 179 passengers from the city at 7.40 am. In addition to Indigo, Go First airlines also commenced its daily flight service to Manohar International Airport on Thursday.
The Manohar International Airport, built on 2,132 acres, is located at Pernem Taluka in North Goa, 35 km from capital Panaji. Akasa Air will soon follow these airlines with a daily flight service to this airport.
