GMR-NFSU to offer courses in forensics, aviation cyber security
GMR Aviation Academy (GMRAA), the training and education arm of GMR Airports Ltd - a subsidiary of GMR Infrastructure, has joined hands with the world’s first and only forensic sciences university, the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) to collaborate on developing and extending educational programmes in the field of forensics and aviation cyber security.

Vijayawada: GMR Aviation Academy (GMRAA), the training and education arm of GMR Airports Ltd - a subsidiary of GMR Infrastructure, has joined hands with the world's first and only forensic sciences university, the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) to collaborate on developing and extending educational programmes in the field of forensics and aviation cyber security.
GMR Group has developed airports in Delhi and Hyderabad. It also inked a MoU with Andhra Pradesh Government to construct an international airport at Bhogapuram, about 40 km from Visakhapatnam.
In a release, GMRAA stated that the educational programmes aim at bridging the demand and supply gap of cyber security and forensic professionals in the country. To formalise this intent, GMRAA signed a MoU with the NFSU on July 12 in Delhi.
The MoU was signed by Prof Purvi Pokhariyal, Campus Director of NFSU, Gandhinagar, and Parul Kulshreshtha, Head of GMR Aviation Academy. The MoU signing ceremony took place in the presence of Prof S O Junare, Vice-Chancellor in-charge of NFSU and Campus Director NFSU, Delhi, Ashwani Lohani, CEO, GMR Services Business, Rahul Shandilya, Group CIO, GMR Airports and Bithal Bhardwaj, Group CISO, GMR Airports Ltd.
