Dubai: In a significant stride towards transforming the landscape of Hyderabad, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy spearheaded a delegation engaging in extensive talks with prominent global city planners, master plan developers, and architects on Sunday. The focal points of the marathon discussions included the ambitious development of the 56-kilometre-long Musi riverfront, the creation of green urban spaces, and the exploration of commercial linkages and investment models.

The meetings, held in Dubai, mark a continuation of engagements with over 70 major global design, planning, and architecture firms. These international entities showcased their expertise, presenting past and ongoing projects in Europe, the Middle East, and various major cities worldwide.

Expressing keen interest in collaborating with Hyderabad and Telangana, the global firms indicated their intent to visit the region for further consultations in the coming days. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy welcomed these leading firms to Hyderabad, envisioning the city as a unique global hub defined by the rejuvenated Musi river and numerous lakes.

Emphasizing the city's global ambitions, CM Revanth Reddy urged the participating firms to develop early plan prototypes with the highest ambitions. He stated, "I am not competing with other Indian cities and states. I am trying to benchmark against the best globally and will strive to surpass it."

The consultation sessions, scheduled until late Sunday night in Dubai, are part of the Chief Minister-led delegation's mission before their departure for Hyderabad. Key officials present at the discussions included Sheshadri, Ajit Reddy, and the Municipal Administration & Urban Development (MA&UD) team led by Dana Kishore and Amrapali Katta.
