CESL creates awareness on energy efficient lights
Convergence Energy Services Limited (CESL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) recently held an awareness campaign for the adoption of energy efficient lighting under its Gram Ujala initiative.

Hyderabad Convergence Energy Services Limited (CESL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) recently held an awareness campaign for the adoption of energy efficient lighting under its Gram Ujala initiative. The theme of the campaign was “Mission LiFE,” endorsed by the National Implementation Committee (NIC). The event was organised to celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) and spread awareness about the importance of using LED lighting and promote sustainable mobility solutions. The Gram Ujala initiative aims at providing LED lamps to rural households in Siddipet district in Telangana. Savitri Singh, Cluster Head-Southeast Regional, EESL said, “Through this initiative, we aim to make the citizens of Telangana aware about the best energy efficiency practices.”
At the campaign, CESL demonstrated e-bicycles and informed about the benefits of adopting electric mobility and E-bicycles. Quiz and essay competitions on energy efficiency for students from class six to 10 was conducted. The winners of these competitions were rewarded with certificates and prizes.
