CII Telangana organises IWN meet

Hyderabad CII Telangana organised the Annual Meeting of Indian Women Network-Telangana recently in Hyderabad.

Divya Deverajan, Commissioner, Department of Women Development & Child Welfare, Government of Telangana said that there is a need to create an environment where women feel safe to lodge the complaint against any atrocity and should be believe that the outcome would be fair. There is a need for corporates to strengthen Internal compliance committees pertaining to POSH act and CII could consider creating a resource pool of external members who could be part of ICCs. The Government & Industry could work together in bringing model guidelines for strengthening women at workplace and also work towards making Telangana a best inclusive state in the country.

C Shekar Reddy, Vice Chairman, CII Telangana & Managing Director, said: "We have been witnessing examples of female leaders changing the world with their knowledge and drive for change. We have ambitious and capable women running influential organizations and activating change through technology and policy."

Purnima Kamble, Chairwoman, IWN Telangana & Partner, Fox Mandal & Associates LLP briefed members about the activities of Indian Women Network for the year 2021-22 and also mentioned about independent directors training program of IWN.
