Bharat Dynamics pays final dividend of Rs 16 crore to Centre
Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) said it has paid the final dividend of Rs 16.479 crore for the financial year 2023, to the Government of India.

Hyderabad: Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) said it has paid the final dividend of Rs 16.479 crore for the financial year 2023, to the Government of India. With this, the total dividend paid towards Government of India’s shareholding in BDL for the fiscal year is Rs 128.40 crore.
Commodore A Madhavarao (retd), CMD, BDL presented the cheque to Defence Minister of India Rajnath Singh, at New Delhi. Shalabh Tyagi, Joint Secretary (P&C), Ministry of Defence and N Srinivasulu, Director (Finance), BDL, were also present on the occasion
BDL in a press release said that the final dividend is Rs 1.20 per equity share of Rs 10 each for the FY 2023. The final dividend declared by the Company works out to 12 per cent of the paid-up share capital of Rs 183.28 crore, it added.
During March, an interim dividend of Rs 8.15 per share amounting to Rs 111.92 crore was paid for FY 2023, towards Government of India’s shareholding in BDL.
