Hyderabad: Public sector bank, State Bank of India (SBI), has opened two more branches in Hyderabad. The new branches, located at Tax Colony in Banjara Hills, and Anjaneya Nagar in Kukatpally, were inaugurated by Om Prakash Mishra, Chief General Manager of SBI's Hyderabad Circle, with the sole purpose of providing personalised service to the residents of these localities.

Inaugurating the Income Tax Colony branch, situated at Road No10, Mishra said that Banjara Hills is one of the most affluent neighbourhoods in Hyderabad, and the branch here would cater to this affluent society and also commercial establishments in and around this place. He assured the customers that the branch staff will extend best customer service and requested them for their patronage and support.

After inaugurating the branch at Anjaneya Nagar, Mishra interacted with the customers and handed over sanction letters of housing loans to the tune of Rs 3.50 crore. The customers, during their interaction, expressed their happiness and appreciated the technological advancements brought in by the bank and improvements in service levels.

Mishra urged the staff to educate the customers about the benefits of schemes and products of customer convenience, safety and investment such as YONO, YONO Cash, Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) product through YONO and Systematic Investment Plan (SIP). Later in the day, Mishra also inaugurated the renovated dedicated office for State Bank of India SC/ST Employees Welfare Association (SEWA).
